Take That Planned UK Tour 2011 | Take That Tour 2011 | Take That Summer Tour 2011

Take That are a BRIT award-winning English pop band consisting of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams. Barlow acts as the group’s main singer songwriter. “Greatest Day”, the first single from the album The Circus, made its radio premiere on 13 October 2008 and it was released on 24 November. It debuted at Number 1 in the UK Singles Chart on 30 November 2008.

The rumours are true. Robbie Williams, the man who famously walked out on Take That 15 years ago, has reunited with his former bandmates Gary, Mark, Howard and Jason and have recorded a brand new album together. The five piece are set to tour the UK in the summer of 2011.

Walking out on the group in 1995, Robbie Williams entered a dark chapter of his life battling alcohol and drug abuse. Having rebuilt his career whilst slowly settling differences between himself and his former band, Robbie today confirmed the rumours, stating that his return to Take That was like “coming home”.

An official statement made by Take That earlier today read: “The rumours are true… Take That: the original line-up, have written and recorded a new album for release later this year.”

Now questions will be begin to surface with regards to what’s next for Take That. A new album will be released from the group this November, in addition to that a new Take That tour is expected to feature in Robbie’s year-long reunion too. Reports are circulating that the group are to play a five-night stint at Wembley Stadium in July 2011.
