The Brit Awards, often simply called The Brits and stylized as The BRIT Awards, are the British Phonographic Industry’s annual pop music awards. Be ready for BRIT Awards 2010. This year, the BRIT Awards will be hosted by comedian Peter Kay. Brit Awards Tickets are available now on Sold Out Ticket Market at nominal rates. Get your Brit Awards Tickets and enjoy the event.

In addition, an equivalent awards ceremony for classical music, called the Classical BRIT Awards, is held each May.The BRIT Awards 2010 will take place on Feb. 16 at London’s Earls Court Arena. Robbie Williams will perform and receive an award for contribution to music. It will be the 30th occasion on which the British music awards ceremony has been staged (although not all were under the BRIT awards name). ITV will again be broadcasting the BRIT Awards live. The nominations have also been confirmed for Jan. 18, and they have moved to London’s IndigO2 venue. The noms will also include live performances and will be broadcast on ITV2. The awards will also continue a sponsorship partnership with global payment card brand MasterCard for the 12th year.On 18 February 2009, the venue for the Brits was once again the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London. The Outstanding Contribution to Music Award was presented to the Pet Shop Boys. The hosts were Mathew Horne and James Corden along with Kylie Minogue. From 2007, the Brit Awards reverted to a live broadcast on British television, on 14 February on ITV. In that year, comedian Russell Brand was presenter and three awards were dropped from the ceremony: Best British Rock Act, Best British Urban Act and Best Pop Act.The Brit Awards were broadcast live until 1989, when Samantha Fox and Mick Fleetwood hosted a poorly organised show in which little went as rehearsed. Subsequently, the event was recorded and broadcast the following night. This was part of a revamp by Jonathan King, who had hosted the show in 1987. He created the “BRITs” moniker and released a megamix of British dance acts, including S’Express and A Guy Called Gerald, called BRITs 1990. He also persuaded Margaret Thatcher to sing “(How Much Is) That Doggie in the Window?” for a pre-recorded segment.BRIT is also an acronym for the British Record Industry Trust, which supports youngsters in the arts and education mainly at The Brit School in London. Since the affiliation with Britannia Music Club was dropped, MasterCard has been the long-time sponsor of this annual event. The awards began in 1980 under the auspices of the BPI, the British record industry’s trade association. The last BPI Awards show took place at the Albert Hall and was the first of the ceremonies to be broadcast on television, by the BBC; the awards transferred to ITV in 1993. In 1989 they were renamed the Britannia Music Awards to echo sponsorship by Britannia Music Club and this was shortened to BRIT Awards.

The Brit Awards, often simply called The Brits and stylized as The BRIT Awards, are the British Phonographic Industry’s annual pop music awards. The name was originally a shortened form of “British” or “Britannia”, but has subsequently become a backronym for British Record Industry Trust. In addition, an equivalent awards ceremony for classical music, called the Classical BRIT Awards, is held each May.

Reading Festival Tickets – Reading Festival Lineup 2009 Arctic Monkeys

Reading Festival Tickets – Reading Festival Lineup 2009 Arctic Monkeys

In 2001 Arctic Monkeys Reading Festival, neighbours Alex Turner and Jamie Cook learned how to play the guitar, later the two boys received guitars as Christmas presents, the pair formed a band with Turner’s schoolmates Andy Nicholson and Matt Helders.Nicholson already played bass guitar, so Helders ended up playing drums — “that was all that were left… they all had guitars so I bought a kit after a bit.” According to an interview with Blender magazine, Turner was not the original singer of the band, but instead, Glyn Jones, another attendee of Stocksbridge High School, used to be the frontman.

Jones said that he and Turner “were bored [after our GCSE exams so we started writing a song about a geek in our year...", and that he left the band because he "did not have the dedication to take it any further... to me we were just a gang of kids messing around because we were bored." Although reports suggested they named themselves after Helders' uncle's (or even father's) band, Helders later admitted that "so many people asking us that in the UK, so we just started making stories up",and that he just didn't have the heart to tell the original reporter he'd been lying.

After a few performances in 2003 the band began to record demos and burn them into CDs to give away at gigs, which were promptly file-shared amongst fans. When asked about the popularity of the band's MySpace site in an interview with Prefix Magazine, the band said that they were unaware what it was, and that the site had originally been created by their fans. "[When we went number one in England] we were on the news and radio about how MySpace has helped us.

They began to grow in popularity across the north of England, receiving attention from BBC Radio and the British tabloid press. In May 2005, Arctic Monkeys released their first single, Five Minutes with Arctic Monkeys, featuring the songs “Fake Tales of San Francisco” and “From the Ritz to the Rubble”.

This release was limited to 500 CDs and 1000 7″ records, but was also available to download from the iTunes Music Store. Soon after, the band played at the Carling Stage of the Reading and Leeds Festivals, reserved for less known or unsigned bands.

Eventually, they signed to Domino in June 2005. The band said they were attracted to the “DIY ethic” of Domino owner Laurence Bell, who ran the label from his flat and only signed bands that he liked personally. The UK’s Daily Star reported that this was followed in October by a £1 million publishing deal with EMI and a £725,000 contract with Epic Records for the United States.Arctic Monkeys denied this on their website, dubbing the newspaper “The Daily Stir”. However, Domino have licensed the Australian and New Zealand publishing rights to EMI and the Japanese rights to independent label Hostess.

Their first single with Domino, “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor”, was released on 17 October 2005 and went straight to #1 on the UK Singles Chart, beating Sugababes and Robbie Williams. Four months later, they made their first appearance on the cover of NME. Their second single, “When the Sun Goes Down” (previously titled “Scummy”), released on 16 January 2006, also went straight to #1 on the UK Singles Chart, selling 38,922 copies and taking over that position from Shayne Ward. The band’s was unsuccessful marketing or advertising which led some to suggest that it could signal a change in how new bands achieve recognition.

Cheap Michael Buble Tickets – Buy Discount Michael Buble Concert Tickets

Cheap Michael Buble Tickets – Buy Discount Michael Buble Concert Tickets

Millions of people watched the performance of Michael Buble last weekend showed by ITV1. He shared the stage with George Michael, Robbie Williams and the finalists of this year’s X Factor. He performed a duet with Stacey Solomon, the only female singer that reached this far in the competition. The show has been seen by more than 12 million viewers. Just a few days before the X Factor competition, the Canadian singer was seen strolling down Grafton Street, the shopping center of Dublin. His peaceful shopping trail was interrupted when a bunch of schoolgirls recognized him and crowded him pleading for autographs and photos. He was in the city preparing for an appearance on RTE’s Late Late Show before his appearance on the stage with Robbie Williams and George Michael. Michael Buble is currently promoting his latest album, Crazy Love. It is on top of album charts all over the world. Only Susan Boyle’s ‘I Dreamed A Dream’, Westlife’s ‘Where We Are,’ and the albums of Lady GaGa and Black Eyed Peas are ahead of Michael’s ‘Crazy Love’. The album of the Grammy-winning singer is a diverse mixture of jazz and pop standards and original songs. Buble has interpreted Van Morrison’s “Crazy Love” and The Eagle’s “Heartache Tonight” proving again he can play jazzy everything ever written. Among the tracks of the album you can enjoy “You’re Nobody Till Somebody Loves You,” the classical “Stardust,” “Baby (You’ve Got What It Takes),” “Whatever It Takes,” “Cry Me A River,” “All Of Me,” “Georgia On My Mind,” and “Haven’t Met You Yet,” the latter co-written by Buble. Fellow artists featuring in Crazy Love include Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, and another Canadian singer, Ron Sexsmith. Meanwhile, Michael defended UK actor Hugh Grant after a bad comment a UK tabloid made about his appearance on German TV show. Buble was a guest on British TV show Loose Women when the matter was brought up. The singer confirmed that he has been a guest alongside the Hollywood star on the same quiz show Wetten, das…? and assured the viewers that the so called “incident” was all set up by German actors, hired especially for the show. Being famous is not an easy job but when you do something you are good at and that people love, it’s worth the price. So, Michael, keep up the good work! Get your Michael Buble Concerts Tickets

Take That – How to Seek Out One of Those 350,000 Sold Tickets Before Its Too Late

Take That – How to Seek Out One of Those 350,000 Sold Tickets Before Its Too Late

“Take that” can be considered a boy band. It all began when Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams and Mark Owen met and formed the band called “Cutest Rush”. They were all teenagers when they first met, and together they developed into the rock group “Take That” in 1990.
The group consisted of Gerry Barlow, Jason Orange, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Robbie Williams. Robbie Williams left the group in 1995 after beginning to hang out with members of the group “Oasis” who were known to be heavy partiers. In 1996 the rest of the group disbanded. This was a blowing crash to the fans, who adored them. Robbie Williams, Mark Owen and Gary Barlow went on to enjoy some success as solo singers. The group joined again, without Robbie Williams for a reunion tour in 2006 which was a smashing success. Take That then recorded another album after the tour was complete.
Robbie Williams was born on February 13, 1974 in Staffordshire England. He has made himself very popular in England, Australia and Europe, but has never reached that measure of success in the United States. He has performed what has been considered the largest rock concert ever done in the UK in August 2003, where he performed over three nights for 375,000 adoring fans at Knebworth Park. His other band mate Gary Barlow went on to see some success as well. He was born on January 20, 1971 in Cheshire England. As a solo singer after he left Take That, he went on to make five top forty singles in the UK and to number one singles in the late 1990s. With both Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams performing solo, there arose a competition between the two and Gary Barlow went back to producing and songwriting. He is currently married with three children. Mark Owen was born on January 27, 1972 in Oldham England. He had a few successful singles in England as a solo artist, and has continued to release albums that have not been big successes.
Take That was considered one of the major influential pop groups of their time. They reinforced this when they did their reunion tour in 2006, and release their new album in 2007 which included two months singles that both reached number one on the charts. They were, in fact, credited with being one of the most popular pop bands in history. They had a fan base that was second to non. Today they continue to pull surprises out of the hat as their latest United Kingdom tour became the fastest-selling UK tour in history. A total of 350,000 available tickets were bought and booked in only one hour for the Take That tour, as Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Mark Owen also take in Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and Wembley in London, in June and July 2009.
Its still possible to seek out a ticket here. The UK is certainly the place to be for the last part of 2008 and most of 2009 with great performances from the likes of The Pussycat Dolls, Pink, Oasis, Take That, Boyzone, The Killers and countless others.

Robbie Williams Tickets – Robbie Williams Concert Tickets for UK Fans

Robert Peter “Robbie” Williams (born 13 February 1974) is a BRIT Award-winning English singer-songwriter, musician, record producer and multi-instrumentalist. His career started in 1990, at the age of 16, as a dancer and singer with the pop band Take That. He left the band in 1995 to launch his solo career. He has enjoyed a very successful solo career, and his latest studio album Reality Killed the Video Star was released on November 9 2009, including his single “Bodies”.

Williams was born and raised in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, with a sister, Sally, by his mother, Janet. His father, Peter “Parp” Conway, and mother separated when Williams was three-days-old. He attended Mill Hill Primary School and St Margaret Ward’s Roman Catholic School, he also attened dance school UKDDF in Tunstall as a child. Tunstall, Staffordshire.

Williams has reportedly battled mental illness, obesity, self esteem issues, alcoholism, and substance abuse throughout his life. He once discussed how his friend Elton John booked him into a clinic to cope with his drug use that emerged from the depression he was experiencing while still in Take That. He entered a rehabilitation centre in Tucson for his addiction to the prescription pills Xanax, Seroxat and Vicodin, in February of 2007.

Williams has a strong interest in UFOs and related paranormal phenomena, and has pursued this interest during his 2007–2008 sabbatical. His interest in the subject led to him taking part in a documentary for BBC Radio 4 with Jon Ronson. The documentary followed them to a UFO convention in Nevada. During an interview with Joss Stone on The Jeremy Kyle Show in 2008, Williams revealed that while out of his head on dispirin he has seen UFOs three times. Williams said his first UFO sighting was when he was a child in Britain while he spotted his second in Beverly Hills, and added that the third sighting was just after he had written a song about alien contact.

Williams has had romantic relationships with several well-known female celebrities, including Rachel Hunter. Feel, written by Williams’ friend, writer Chris Heath, details Williams’ many sexual conquests during his European tour in 2003.

As a solo artist, he has sold more albums in the UK than any other British solo artist in history and has won more BRIT Awards than any other artist to date. His album sales stands at over 55 million worldwide. Williams was entered in The Guinness Book of World Records when, after he announced his World Tour for 2006, 1.6 million tickets were sold in one single day.

It is also estimated he is currently the highest selling non-Latin artist in Latin America, having sold over 3 million albums.

On October 23, 2009 it was announced that he will receive the Outstanding Contribution To British Music award at the 2010 BRIT Awards.

Robbie Williams is going to perform on Wed, Dec 16, 2009 at TBA London, London, United Kingdom. So be there and rock yourself.

Robbie Williams Tickets | Robbie Williams Tickets 2010 | Buy & Sell Robbie Williams

Robbie Williams was originally part of a successful boy band, Take That. When Take That broke up the predictions were that the other members of the band would succeed. They underestimated Robbie Williams. The former member of Take That has sold more than 70 Million albums worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists from Great Britain of all time. His albums ‘Life Thru a Lens’, ‘I’ve Been Expecting You’ and ‘Intensive Care’, have broken record after record. We are all eagerly waiting for the next Robbie Williams tour that might take place in 2010.

Robbie Williams has sold more albums in Britain than any other solo artist ever. As if that wasn’t enough, Stoke’s favourite son has amassed ten BRIT Awards as well as being inducted into the prestigious UK Music Hall of Fame. Starting in Take That as a dancer at the age of 15, Robbie went on to huge success with the boyband before leaving in 1995 to pursue a solo career. What a solo career it turned out to be with albums Life Thru a Lens, I’ve Been Expecting You – including singles ‘Let Me Entertain You’ and phenomenal single ‘Angels’ propelling Robbie into the stratosphere.

Robbie Williams has been nominated for the Grammy Awards and won the BRIT Awards 15 times. We love you Robbie!

Robbie Williams is to play his first UK show for three years with an intimate BBC gig. The singer will be one of the headline acts for the BBC’s Electric Proms series of shows next month at which he will preview songs from his new album, Reality Killed The Video Star. Robbie, who just weeks ago talked about how his crippling stage fright meant he had no plans to tour, will be joined by a string section, horns and a full band for the show at London’s Roundhouse.

The forthcoming Robbie Williams concerts are expected to take place in 2010 at several venues possibly including the O2 Arena or Wembley Stadium. Robbie Williams sold more than 1.6 Million tickets on one day when his last tour in 2006 went on sale. Robbie Wiliams tickets for a potential upcoming UK tour in 2010 will be available here.
