The Top 10 Most Famous People With the Last Name of Williams

The Top 10 Most Famous People With the Last Name of Williams

For the past year and a half I’ve been compiling a list of famous people for my name numerology website.  These are all noted individuals, but who are the most famous?  Today let’s count down the most famous people with the last name of Williams.

The most famous people (based on online chatter) with the surname Williams are:

10. Andy Williams – Singer (Moon River, Where Do I Begin?, Happy Heart)

9. Tennessee Williams – Playwright (A Streetcar Named Desire, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Glass Menagerie)

8. Vanessa Williams – Actress and former Miss America (Eraser, Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man, Ugly Betty)

7. Michelle Williams – Actress (Dawson’s Creek, Brokeback Mountain)

6. Hank Williams – Singer and Songwriter (Lovesick Blues, Hey Good Lookin, Your Cheatin’ Heart)

5. Venus Williams – Professional Tennis Player and Champion

4. John Williams – Classical Composer and Conductor (film scores for Star Wars, Harry Potter, Raiders of the Lost Ark)

3. Robin Williams – Actor and Comedian (Good Will Hunting, Mrs. Doubtfire, Dead Poets Society, Good Morning Vietnam)

2. Robbie Williams – Singer and Songwriter (Sing When You’re Winning, Escapology, Intensive Care)

…and the most famous Williams is…

1. Serena Williams – Professional Tennis Player and Champion

Not making the top ten list were Lucinda Williams – Singer and Songwriter (Car Wheels on a Gravel Road, World Without Tears, Little Honey), Montel Williams – Talk Show Host (The Montel Williams Show), Cindy Williams – Actress (Laverne and Shirley), Victoria Williams – Singer and Songwriter (Crazy Mary, Century Plant), Betty Williams – Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Zelda Williams – Actress (House of D, Were the World Mine), Sunita Williams – NASA Astronaut, Raineesha Williams – Actress (Reno 911).

This top ten list was more mixed than usual with one writer, two athletes, three actors, and four musicians.  I believe this is the first time a classical musician has made it into the top ten, but John Williams is no ordinary classical musician.  While he may be unfamlliar to many Americans, Robbie Williams is a huge star in Europe as his number two Williams ranking proves.  It’s fantastic to see Tennessee Williams, a playwright, up in the top ten.  Literary figures are certainly holding their own in the “Famous People” lists I’ve done thus far.

We have two sets of closely related people on this list.  Tennis Champions Serena and Venus Williams are sisters.  Actor and comedian Robin Williams is the father of actress Zelda Williams.

I compiled this list by searching for each of the Williams on a number of search engines and ranking them by the number of web pages, discussion forums, photos, videos, etc that are available online.

Take That Planned UK Tour 2011 | Take That Tour 2011 | Take That Summer Tour 2011

Take That Planned UK Tour 2011 | Take That Tour 2011 | Take That Summer Tour 2011

Take That are a BRIT award-winning English pop band consisting of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams. Barlow acts as the group’s main singer songwriter. “Greatest Day”, the first single from the album The Circus, made its radio premiere on 13 October 2008 and it was released on 24 November. It debuted at Number 1 in the UK Singles Chart on 30 November 2008.

The rumours are true. Robbie Williams, the man who famously walked out on Take That 15 years ago, has reunited with his former bandmates Gary, Mark, Howard and Jason and have recorded a brand new album together. The five piece are set to tour the UK in the summer of 2011.

Walking out on the group in 1995, Robbie Williams entered a dark chapter of his life battling alcohol and drug abuse. Having rebuilt his career whilst slowly settling differences between himself and his former band, Robbie today confirmed the rumours, stating that his return to Take That was like “coming home”.

An official statement made by Take That earlier today read: “The rumours are true… Take That: the original line-up, have written and recorded a new album for release later this year.”

Now questions will be begin to surface with regards to what’s next for Take That. A new album will be released from the group this November, in addition to that a new Take That tour is expected to feature in Robbie’s year-long reunion too. Reports are circulating that the group are to play a five-night stint at Wembley Stadium in July 2011.

Take That – How to Seek Out One of Those 350,000 Sold Tickets Before Its Too Late

July 27th, 2010 No comments

Take That – How to Seek Out One of Those 350,000 Sold Tickets Before Its Too Late

“Take that” can be considered a boy band. It all began when Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams and Mark Owen met and formed the band called “Cutest Rush”. They were all teenagers when they first met, and together they developed into the rock group “Take That” in 1990.
The group consisted of Gerry Barlow, Jason Orange, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Robbie Williams. Robbie Williams left the group in 1995 after beginning to hang out with members of the group “Oasis” who were known to be heavy partiers. In 1996 the rest of the group disbanded. This was a blowing crash to the fans, who adored them. Robbie Williams, Mark Owen and Gary Barlow went on to enjoy some success as solo singers. The group joined again, without Robbie Williams for a reunion tour in 2006 which was a smashing success. Take That then recorded another album after the tour was complete.
Robbie Williams was born on February 13, 1974 in Staffordshire England. He has made himself very popular in England, Australia and Europe, but has never reached that measure of success in the United States. He has performed what has been considered the largest rock concert ever done in the UK in August 2003, where he performed over three nights for 375,000 adoring fans at Knebworth Park. His other band mate Gary Barlow went on to see some success as well. He was born on January 20, 1971 in Cheshire England. As a solo singer after he left Take That, he went on to make five top forty singles in the UK and to number one singles in the late 1990s. With both Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams performing solo, there arose a competition between the two and Gary Barlow went back to producing and songwriting. He is currently married with three children. Mark Owen was born on January 27, 1972 in Oldham England. He had a few successful singles in England as a solo artist, and has continued to release albums that have not been big successes.
Take That was considered one of the major influential pop groups of their time. They reinforced this when they did their reunion tour in 2006, and release their new album in 2007 which included two months singles that both reached number one on the charts. They were, in fact, credited with being one of the most popular pop bands in history. They had a fan base that was second to non. Today they continue to pull surprises out of the hat as their latest United Kingdom tour became the fastest-selling UK tour in history. A total of 350,000 available tickets were bought and booked in only one hour for the Take That tour, as Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Mark Owen also take in Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and Wembley in London, in June and July 2009.
Its still possible to seek out a ticket here. The UK is certainly the place to be for the last part of 2008 and most of 2009 with great performances from the likes of The Pussycat Dolls, Pink, Oasis, Take That, Boyzone, The Killers and countless others.

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta aka Lady Gaga is among the acts to perform at the 30th BRIT

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta aka Lady Gaga is among the acts to perform at the 30th BRIT Awards ceremony next month along with Robbie Williams, JLS and Kasabian.  This will be the second time the British star appears on the stage of the Brits. The anniversary ceremony will take place at London’s Earls Court Arena in mid February.

The famous singer has expressed her wish to perform alongside Susan Boyle who is also among the names mulled for the BRITs. Lady Gaga Tickets Lady Gaga admits she is a huge fan of the Scottish singer Boyle, who conquered the world after appearing on British reality TV show “Britain’s Got Talent” last year. According to Lady G a performance with Susan Boyle would be a fresh and unexpected act worthy to be commented.

A duet with Susan Boyle would be a good surprise but Lady Gaga surprised not so nicely her fans when she cancelled four shows because of exhaustion and dehydration. The cancellation was not pleasant but was not such a big deal. What bothered fans was that despite feeling so unwell Lady Gaga still made it to Oprah Winfrey’s show the next morning. OK, it was her first visit to Oprah. But still. Performing at a TV show in front of all the people you’ve told you’re feeling sick doesn’t make a good impression. The 23-year-old singer revealed that she needed the assistance of paramedics who found out her heart rate was irregular and claimed she would never cancel a show just based on discomfort. cheap Lady Gaga Tickets On the Oprah Winfrey show she performed a medley of hits including Monster, Bad Romance and Speechless.

Among her more recent stage appearances is her January 24 concert in New York City. Lady Gaga promised all money from ticket sales and merchandise to go to the victims of the terrible earthquake in Haiti. discount  Lady Gaga TicketsA week later she is going to perform at the Grammy Awards where she is nominated for five awards.

The 23-year-old singer has released two albums: The Fame (2008) and The Fame Monster (2009), and currently is promoting her latest release through her The Monster Ball Tour (2009–2010). Her single Bad Romance topped the UK charts recently. She is famous for her crazy outfits and controversial routines.

Planets in crisis are calling! Be ready for a big change

Planets in crisis are calling! Be ready for a big change

“The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.” Albert Einstein

What’s going on these days? Is the world going crazy?

On Monday, May 10th, at the moment this story is written, because of what happened in the European countries, the worldwide stock market has been rocked by an incredible and sudden plunge (May 6th), after a hectic week.

Now it sounds like the crisis is over, after the Europeans have agreed on how to save the Euro. As a result, stocks posted their biggest one-day gain in more than a year. So, is the Euro really saved?

Is the crisis over? From an astrological viewpoint the answer is a resounding NO!

For those familiar with the language of the Planets, all that is no surprise. We can truly identify the kind of events that may occur during a Saturn-Uranus opposition.

Think back a bit about what happened in late 2008, when on November 21st the first opposition between these two guys occurred: the Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged 47%.

Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? For months some astrologers have been warning about the special alignment – in formation – involving Saturn-Uranus-Pluto over the summer.

Who are the guys involved? What does the picture look like?

Many Planets will be key players in a very real, very stressful ballet. We call it a cardinal T-square because it will take place in all the cardinal signs – Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.

The first of these Planets, Pluto, Lord of the Underworld, who is visiting the sign of Capricorn, is asking for huge transformation. He helps to bring to the surface what is wrong and hidden to the others. He can’t stand dishonesty. The Madoff story is a perfect example.

The second one, presently in the sign of Virgo, is Saturn a.k.a the Terminator guy, a very demanding one. He strongly needs structure and organization; e.g., if the foundations of your business are weak, be ready to have to clear the mess, he will never let you go without doing that.

The third one, Uranus, a.k.a the Liberator guy, in the sign of Pisces at the moment, is the one who asks for revolution and freedom.

And guess what? They will not be alone in play. Entering into the game soon, we will also have Jupiter, who makes everything become bigger – in a bad or a good way, Mars the Warrior who brings action but also fights, and Venus, the Lady involved in love stories but also in more valuable assets such as money and the stock market.

What do we learn from the past?

Even if Astrology is everything except a science, we can find similar planetary configuration in the past to try to anticipate the future events.

The T-square configuration bringing intense stormy energies takes shape every 80-90 years and usually coincides with major transformations in the world, economic and political crisis, weather disorders, etc.

We got a similar cardinal configuration in 1930-1931 with Jupiter-Mars-Pluto in Cancer, Uranus in Aries, and Saturn in Capricorn.

When the conjunction Jupiter-Uranus, in action every 14 years, occurred in 1983, the heat wave – called the El’ Nino of the Century – has been huge. And when it occurred again in 1997, it has been the hottest year ever.

When the European sky has been paralyzed by the Icelandic volcano ashes cloud on April 18th, 2010, the planetary configuration was the same as on June 8th, 1783 when the Laki erupted in Iceland – as well as the Japanese volcano Asama – with Mercury, Venus and Uranus in Cancer, opposing Saturn in Capricorn, and squaring Neptune in Libra and Mars in Aries. The meteorological impact of the Laki eruption contributed to several years of extreme weather in Europe.

The cardinal T-square will bring an incredibly challenging time

Though it’s rather difficult to predict the exact nature of the events we will face, we can be sure the world will experience a major transition over the summer.

Here are the hotspot dates:

May 27th: Uranus moves into the sign of Aries.
June 6th: Jupiter follows, as does the Moon.
June 8th: Uranus and Jupiter are opposing Saturn and squared to Pluto.
June 21st: the Sun is squaring Jupiter and Uranus.
June 26th: full Moon and lunar eclipse; the Moon in Capricorn is joining Pluto and opposing the Sun and     Mercury in Cancer, and squaring Jupiter and Uranus in Aries.
July 30th: the Moon is joining Jupiter and Uranus in Aries, opposing Mars and Saturn in Libra, squaring Pluto in Capricorn.
August 7-9th: new Moon time with Mars, Venus and Saturn in Libra opposing Jupiter and Uranus in Aries and squaring Pluto in Capricorn.
August 20th: Saturn squares Pluto for the third time.

Speaking of countries, the USA should be more shaken than any other by this planetary Tsunami.

On the individual level, people born at the beginning of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn and those who have any Planet or their ascendant on the first degrees of these signs should experience something of a turning point in their lives as well. But all is about the way they are willing to initiate and control the changes and push for their freedom.

Here are some of the Celebrities called by the Planets:  President Obama, Georges Michael, French first Lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Courtney Fox, Meryl Streep, Stevie Wonder, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Simpson , Sandra Bullock, Robbie Williams, Kate Moss, Kylie Minogue, Reese Whiterspoon, Kate Hudson, Ricky Martin, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeita-Jones.

Nevertheless, this tough time may also raise some good changes, the ruling financial elite being forced to stop denying the reality of the others.
